Police Arrests Thief Who Stole 1 Ton of Cassava from Villager

BATTAMBANG: On Tuesday, 27 December, Battambang provincial authorities arrested a suspect who stole one ton of cassava from a villager at Group 1, Pich Changva village, Raksmey Sanghar commune, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province.

After realizing that his cassava was stolen by a stranger, the victim reported the theft to the police.

Police arrested a suspect named Dith Dina, a 34-year-old man residing in Pich Changva village, Raksmey Sanghar commune, Rattanak Mondul district, Battambang province.

After questioning, the suspect confessed that he had stolen one ton of cassava to sell himself.

The thief has been transferred to the relevant law enforcement for further legal action.
